How much is Postage?

Postage will depend upon what is ordered and where the items are being sent to. Some items can be sent in a normal letter, while others are sent as a parcel. We have measured and weighed every item and determined the best possible postage cost for you.

Why do I need to login to find out Postage costs?

We need to know where to send the items to and the website can only determine this once you have registered and logged into the site.

Will Postage cost more if I add more to my cart?

Maybe. Again, this depends upon what is being added to the cart. Some items weigh very little and will not change postage costs. Other items are heavier and there could be a marginal increase in postage costs.

What if I'm not home to receive my order?

Your order will be shipped via Australia Post receipted delivery, which means that the goods will need to be signed for. If you're not home, Austraia Post will card you that will show which post office to collect your goods from.

Do you send goods overseas?

Yes we can. However, sending something overseas with International Postage is expensive. If you are willing to pay for the postage, we are happy to send the items to you.

When will I receive my order?

Your order will be sent the next business day with Australia Post.

Delivery times will depend upon where you live. The following has been extracted from the Australia Post website and shows the number of business days from when your order is sent.

 • Melbourne – 2 days

 • Country Victoria – 4 days

 • Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and suburbs – 2 to 3 days

 • Brisbane and suburbs and Tasmania – 3 to 4 days

 • Perth, Darwin and suburbs – 5 to 6 days

 • Other locations – Enter the following address in your browser tab to find delivery times to your location. Your order is sent from Melbourne.

Can I pay with Paypal?


I don't have a Mastercard or Visa, can I still buy from your website?

Yes you can. It's best to use the Contact Us link in the navigation bar and send us an email letting us know that you would like to direct deposit into our bank account. We can send you the bank account details and how to proceed through the check out stages of the website.

When will my credit card be charged?

If you are paying via accepted credit cards, you will only be charged when the goods are sent from our distribution centre.

Do I have to register to buy items through the Splendid Stitches website?

Yes. This is how we know where to send the goods to.

Can I change my details after registering?

Yes. Once you login, click on your name and a form will appear with your current details in it. Change what you need to and then click on the button Update My Details.

I registered on the Splendid Stitches website, but I can't remember my details.

Click on Login at the top right corner, which will take you to the login screen. There is a link on this page where you can retrieve your login and password details. Click on the link and then enter your email address in the box and click on the Search button. Your secret question will appear and box to enter the answer. Click on the Retrieve button and your details will be emailed to you if you have answered the secret question correctly.

I registered on the Splendid Stitches website, but it won't let me login.

This arises when your login ID and/or password has characters that are not letters or numbers. It's best to contact us and we'll get back to you or register again (using a different email address) keeping in mind the letters and numbers parameters.

I want an item on the Splendid Stitches website, but it says This item is no longer available. Can I still get it later?

No. The item is no longer made and we have sold out.

I want an item on the Splendid Stitches website, but it says that it is Out of Stock. Can I still get it later?

Yes. We replenish our supplies regularly. It is best to add the item to your watch list and check back later to see when it becomes available again. You can always use the Contact Us link to drop us an email asking that we let you know when an item comes back into stock – we'll set it aside for you and contact you when it is available.
